Hawaiian Rainbow Bees is a company, focused on producing a local, unprocessed, healthy Hawaiian honey. We operate under the “Hawaiian Rainbow Bees” brand and are proud to produce and present one of the best tasting honeys available.

The company’s facilities are located both in Honolulu and on the Big Island near Hilo, Hawaii. It is a family owned and operated company that has grown steadily since its inception. Its bees serve as excellent pollinators for the local farming community. The company currently pulls honey from approximately 1500 hives in over 25 bee yards (apiaries) across the islands. Many of its hives are located on large macadamia nut farms. Where the bees help to pollinate the macadamia nut crops. Its hives also extend into the upland Ohia Lehua forests on the slopes of Kilauea, Mauna Loa, and Mauna Kea. Other hives that it maintains are in areas of diversified agriculture on Oahu and The Big Island with tropical crops such as coffee, banana, coconut, mango, and avocado.

Hawaii is the perfect location to produce a quality honey due to the tropical flowers that are in bloom year-round. Our Ohia Lehua forests and macadamia nut orchards are large enough to produce a distinctive, single floral honey that is unique the world over.
